Interview Questions

Why did you choose the Piavet Solution for your practice?

We had a demonstration and agreed that it would be useful for our anesthesia and ICU patients, and possibly for cardiac cases and pre-purchase exams.

In which cases do you use the Piavet System most often?

We use it mostly for anesthesia and ICU monitoring.

How do you incorporate the Piavet System into your practice?

We use it in conjunction with our cameras to monitor horses overnight from home, saving our doctors from having to sleep at the clinic.

What benefits has the Piavet System brought to your practice?

It has helped with a couple cardiac cases where owners wanted more information. We sent the reading for a cardio consult [using the DiploVets integration on the Piavet Platform], rather than having to refer the horse to another facility.

How has the Piavet System changed the daily routine or work in your clinic in general?

It has enhanced our anesthesia monitoring, as the ECG function is often more accurate than our existing ECG machine. It also allows us to better monitor our patients when we are on calls or at home for the evening.

Would you recommend the Piavet System?

Yes, especially if even more features are added.

At Piavita, we like happy vets and healthy horses. It’s that simple. Our mission it to transform veterinary care by providing remote health monitoring technology to the veterinary industry. With a non-invasive, sensor-enabled hardware device and sophisticated software platform, the Piavet Solution automates and digitizes repetitive, manual tasks to help vets save time and improve patient outcomes. We are a diverse group of engineers, developers, researchers, and horse people with a passion for delivering meaningful solutions to veterinarians. We operate out of offices in Zürich, Berlin, and North Carolina. Have a question or suggestion? We’d love to hear from you.
